Fly fishing is our primary focus, but light spin gear is an option as well. We fish catch and release only when targeting striped bas. Learning about proper fish fighting/handling techniques and how to preserve these incredible fisheries for the future is an important part of most days.
My philosophy on guiding is simple, its your day. I try to customize every trip to meet your goals and expectations.
These fisheries offer a myriad of approaches. In Maine while wading we’ve got the beaches/surf, rocks, ledges, sand flats, rivers, estuaries, marshes etc. We can sight fish (weather permitting), blind fish, or even chase topwater bites. Combine that with our tides of 8-14 ft and the options seem endless.
On Cape Cod chasing albies from the boat we can run and gun for busting fish, setup ambushes and let them come to us, blind cast spots they frequent even with no surface activity, or drift and cast rips. These fish can be fussy so it’s good to a have wide range of tricks and tactics.

I am a local from York, Maine. Ive been fishing, surfing, diving, and boating along our rugged coastline for most of my life. I'm a fly fishing/tying addict, and worked at a fly shop for 10 years. So it only made sense to become a registered Maine Guide and USCG Licensed Captain and share my passion for this fishery and intimate knowledge of this area. Ive been guiding professionally for 10 years and have really enjoyed the people I’ve been able to meet along the way.
